Performance Measurements for Government |
Since 1990, the federal government
has adopted numerous federal management statutes aimed
at improving the performance of government programs.
Numerous state and local government have also adopted
performance measurement statutes. In order to promote
best practices, the Performance Institute has launched a
major initiative to track, study, and disseminate
information on the design and use of performance
measurement in government.
