About this Web Site:

This web site is dedicated to increasing the transparency of government at all levels: federal, state and local.  What is government transparency and why should taxpayers demand it?  A government is transparent when it reports its results and accomplishments back to the people who "own" it: the taxpayers.  Transparency requires government to measure its performance, report on success and failure, and demonstrate a clear and compelling case for continuing to fund specific programs.  Simply put, government programs should only receive taxpayer dollars when they demonstrate clear results.

This website designed to benefit the ordinary taxpayer wanting information on what they are getting for their tax dollars, as well as government managers wanting to implement the principles of transparency, accountability and performance in their individual programs to demonstrate their worth to the taxpayer.

Help us advance government transparency by reviewing the resources on this site and adding additional content on the performance of government.
