Benefits of Training

Methodology-Driven Curriculum
All Institute training courses follow a clear and refi ned curriculum that is driven by the latest mandates and standards for project management in government.

Competency-Based Education
Instructional approaches in Institute training courses are geared toward enhancing participants’ skills and building the competencies for project management as defined by the Offi ce of Personnel Management and the CIO Council.

Learn from the Leaders
Instructors of Institute courses are all seasoned professionals with direct knowledge and experience in government. In many cases, training programs feature government presenters from standard setting bodies (OPM, OMB, GAO, Congress, etc.), as well as case study presenters from recognized best practice government agencies.

Case Studies and Best Practices
Institute courses go beyond presenting frameworks and toolkits for addressing
each topic—they also provide best practice examples and case studies from
government leaders.

Addressing the Latest Mandates
As new mandates and requirements in project management are set by government entities, the Institute updates its training programs to refl ect the latest requirements. Each course begins by identifying and training participants on the latest mandates and their application in government.
