Director, External Affairs
Felipe Monroig is Director of External Affairs for the Performance Institute. In this position, Felipe is responsible for advancing the Institute's mission of improving government performance with elected, appointed, and career government leaders. Prior to this position, Felipe served as Programs Director of the Institute's Government Performance Center--the largest "center of excellence" at the Institute.
Felipe’s previous work experience includes working as a Client Services Coordinator for the law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. Prior to that, Felipe served as a research assistant at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, focusing on environmental and regulatory issues. He also worked as a Project Coordinator for the Center for Improving Government Performance at the National Academy of Public Administration.
Felipe graduated
with a BA in political science and history from Loyola College in May,
1998.
