Bring the e-Government Study In-House! The government-wide
popularity of the "Creating a Performance-Based Electronic Government"
report has inspired the report's sponsors to offer free in-house briefings
to those federal agencies who would like to further explore its key
findings and recommendations in a more personal setting. These briefings are an opportunity to discuss emerging best practices related to performance management, definition and tracking of measures, and realization of performance improvements and cost efficiencies. Representatives of the research coalition will also offer a preview of the plans for next year's report and welcome input from the agency leaders on how best to capture their performance-based e-Government experiences. The research coalition includes The Performance Institute, Fujitsu Consulting, The Council for Excellence in Government, National Academy of Public Administration, Progressive Policy Institute, American Society for Public Administration, and the Reason Public Policy Institute. To arrange your briefing, please call James Lewis at 703-894-0481 or send him an e-mail at [email protected]. We look forward to discussing this study with you and your colleagues! |
