Address: Principals of Performance - Understanding the Principal
as a School Leader and Not “Super Teacher”
Principals and school administrators have long been viewed as
the de facto “leader” of an individual school or school
district. However, the meaning of that term has changed tremendously
in recent years as principals are now under increased scrutiny
to help drive budget requests and program justifications while
also guiding staff, community members and stakeholders during
a period of whole scale change. This session will provide an overview
of this transition and how principals can effectively lead change.
