Managing a High-Performing Organization
A Seminar for Government and Non-Profit Leaders

April 28, 2003
Leadership Education and Development Center (LEAD)

Clarke College, Dubuque, Iowa

As state budgets are rapidly and dramatically getting slashed, we are forced to do "more with less."  Innovations in management can provide the necessary, effective and efficient strategies for dealing with recent budget cuts and strains on resources for government and non-profit organizations.

Carl DeMaio, a national expert in government reform and performance-based management will be giving a full-day seminar on how to manage high-performing organizations for government and non-profit leaders.  Mr. DeMaio is President of the Performance Institute, a think tank located just outside Washington, D.C., where he has been working to improve performance at all levels of government as well as non-profit organizations.  This seminar is being offered by the LEAD Center, with the majority of proceeds from registration fees going toward the Diane DeMaio Teacher Mentorship Fund at Clarke College.
