Social Services Management
Federal, state, and local social service programs (both run by government and partners of government) face some of the most difficult management challenges. The Institute offers a management training program designed exclusively for social service and public health program managers. Courses address a comprehensive set of issues including performance measures for social service and public health programs, performance-based contracting, measuring and reporting “hard-to-measure” outcomes, grants management and auditing, case management techniques (across program areas), workforce development tools and techniques and forging and management community partnerships.
