Throughout the year, The Performance Institute schedules a number of courses—providing training on all of the topics covered in the Institute’s curriculums. Content in each training course is directly aligned to address the standards being implemented in government. In addition, all Institute courses award CPE Credits and/or PDUs.

Methodology-Driven Curriculum
All Institute training courses follow a clear and refined curriculum that is driven by the latest mandates and standards for government.

Competency-Based Education
Instructional approaches in Institute training courses are geared toward enhancing participants’ skills and building the competencies as defined by the Office of Personnel Management and other independant agencies.

Learn from the Leaders
Instructors of Institute courses are all seasoned professionals with direct knowledge and experience in government. In many cases, training programs feature government presenters from standard setting bodies (OPM, OMB, GAO, Congress, etc.), as well as case study presenters from recognized best practice government agencies.

Case Studies and Best Practices
Institute courses go beyond presenting frameworks and toolkits for addressing each topic—they also provide best practice examples and case studies from government leaders.

Addressing the Latest Mandates
As new mandates and requirements are set by government entities, the Institute updates its training programs to reflect the latest requirements. Each course begins by identifying and training participants on the latest mandates and their application in government.
