Training and Development for Government Employees
Government agencies have long sought to recognize, reward and
retain outstanding employees, but the civil service system has made
that extremely difficult to accomplish. New mandates currently exist
that allow government managers more flexibility to reward
employees, but agencies may not use the higher pay caps unless
OPM and OMB certify that their executive performance plans make “meaningful distinctions based on relative performance.” Acquire the
skills necessary to further emphasize employee success and transform
those employees into the leaders of tomorrow.
Key Methodologies Covered
This training will focus on developing performance-based
employee performance plans by applying OPM core
competencies as a template for developing results-oriented
employee performance development plans. This framework
derived from best practices at all levels of government and is
compliant with Merit Systems Protection Board.
