Strategic Human Capital Planning

Those that say the "Human Capital Crisis" has already been averted are overlooking one crucial detail: half of the civilian workforce will still be eligible to retire in a few months. That fact is still a reality unaffected by the nation's economic state. Developing and implementing a strategic approach to human capital management ensures that agencies human capital policies and systems are aligned with strategic goals and that you will be able to motivate the best and brightest to join public service. The plan will provide a framework for assessing current activities, designing and implementing new programs where needed and monitoring and evaluating activities and outcomes.

Key Methodologies Covered

This training will focus on developing a performance-based human capital plan by applying the seven-step methodology as a template for developing a results-oriented human capital plan for your government programs.
